King's Tournament Round 1 Report

3rd Seed Vassily Ivanchuk leads the King's Tournament after a round 1 win
The 2012 King's Chess Tournament is taking place in Bucharest, Romania from 11/7-13.  It is a 6 round, 4-player double round robin with an average FIDE rating of 2746.5 (Category 20!).  No draw offers are allowed before move 30.  Time control: 40/120, 20/60, SD/15, inc/30 from move 60.
